The Cretacolor Hard Pastel is an unburnt pastel stick that yields a rich color laydown due to the high pigmentation of their colors, which are exceptionally lightfast. All colors are blendable, can be smudged or dissolved with water. The pastels produce a velvet-soft, oil-free stroke. Apply a spray fixative for permanency
