About Liz Visser
"Art is my life.
It has made me see things that others do not notice - the intricate details and colours. I love colour - it is what makes our world an amazing place."
Elizabeth Visser was born in 1946 in Singapore, grew up in Malaysia and England where she attended The Croydon School of Art, and immigrated to Namibia in 1970.
She studied art at Ruth Prowse Art School in Cape Town and has a degree in Fine Art from the University of South Africa. Liz teaches art at her own studio, Spindrift Art Studio, in Walvis Bay, and has taught at the International School in Walvis Bay as well.
She has had two solo exhibitions, and in 2012 group exhibitions at Swakopmund Art Gallery, Walvis Bay Art Gallery and Bank Windhoek Triennale.
Liz choose watercolor, oil, and pencil as her preferred medium.
